Server crasher?

Sometimes ZeeBob reprieves some of the permanent bans however i doubt he will take out any server crashers and that would be at least 1 year after your ban.

Maybe if your good at scripting, make a script that fixes or give a full detailed list on how to fix certain ways of crashing the server it would go a long way to get your ban removed completely.

server crashing is illegal, if your that immature you have to resort to such activity because you cannot wait you dont deserve to use the server.

I didnt just join and say Ahh this is a shit map im crashing server to change it, Everyone had finished the map, RTV wasnt working.(It kept saying "1 more vote needed to Rock The Vote") We then waited about 15 mins or so to see if it would start working, after it didnt and nobody that was on knew any admins, i suggested that i just "crash" the server which in most cases the servers come straight back up and allow us to change map.. etc, But obviously this did not happen in this case, I dont see what your problem is to be quite frank defCON ive said sorry, ive given you guys the information you need to know of how to stop the server from getting crashed, Im not sure what else you want.

well if you had a public server that was put up for the community to use (not to mention the lack of decent chop servers) and it was crashed by some kid wouldn't you have the shits ?

i don't care if you apologised and gave us information you still did it and tbh your lucky your details haven't been passed onto the proper authorities. In my opinion your lucky to escape with a ban and its people like you that ruin the game, did you think of the other people that wanted to bhop ?

um crasha hate to say but when you dos someone, regardless if its a website for 10 people, or 10000, your breaking the law, same thing for game servers/companys.

Its not that is't a css server mate. By crashing one of dg's servers you are potentially slowing our buisness and showing to potential clients that crashing servers is easy. What will they think "Oh fuck that im not buying a server only to have it crashed" It really dosnt matter what reason you have for doing it the fact is its done. Not to mention calling admins "up-tight cunts" isnt going to help the situation. You have been maturer about the situation and for that i thank you but the right thing to do is to keep that adittued up even if someone gets the shits with you. Now soon a higher level admin should reply and you can quitely and calmly sort out this situation. Thankyou

Personal attacks are not going to get you anywhere and makes you look like you cant think of anything valid to say. You don't seem to be able to grasp the fact that what you did was wrong, being polite does not excuse what you did we have perm banned other players for doing the same thing so why should we let this one slide.

also your above reply really does show your true colours. Again i dont see how my valid reply was 'shit talking'. Where did i state that i was going to get you charged, i said your details could be passed on which has happened in the past. Stop going off on your little unrelated tangents and keep your points valid.

I'm aware of the RCON method of crashing servers and it is on purpose I haven't blocked this type of attack. It is more fun to get the end users IP address, forward it to the owning ISP and threaten legal action against them because one of their subscribrers have 'attacked an electronic system disrupting business'.. Had 1 person already have to change ISP because of that.

We also send the info off to the authorities who may at some stage follow it up with legal action.
